White Pony Express
Asserting that “In this most materially blessed nation on Earth, no one should want for food, clothing, shelter, or other basic necessities of life”, Murshida Conner created and developed the “White Pony Express” programs that work to redistribute our abundant surplus of material wealth to those most in need.
The White Pony Express food rescue program picks up close to 5,000 pounds of nutritious surplus food every day from markets and delivers it free to those who feed the hungry. A companion program, the Free General Store and its Mobile Boutique, brings donated items to neighborhoods in need and has given away 250,000 articles of attractive clothing, toys and children’s books. A third program, the White Pony Inn, helps people facing overwhelming challenges to regain balance in their lives.
